About the Opportunity

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy (OT) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Red Bluff, CA. This 6-month contract offers stability, collaboration, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients’ daily lives. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance functional mobility, ADLs, and cognitive/physical skills

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies

• Accurately document evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care

• Maintain highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred — new grads welcome to apply

• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient-focused approach

• Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently

Compensation & Benefits

• $70/hr or $2,800/week as a 1099

• Weekly pay
