Rate: $180/hr ($7,200/week)
Status: Independent Contractor (1099)
Must be Family or Internal Medicine Boarded
Job Description:
Under the direction of the Institution/Facility CEO, Chief Medical Executive (CME), or designee, the Temporary/Relief Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive primary medical care within their scope of practice in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and established standards of medical practice.

Provide high-quality primary care services to patients within a correctional healthcare setting.

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in accordance with accepted medical standards and facility clinical guidelines.

Document all patient care and treatment plans in the medical record and complete required facility medical forms.

Follow infection control standards and adhere to facility medical staff bylaws, policies, and procedures.

Obtain required prior authorizations for specialty services, diagnostic procedures, or non-emergency treatments when applicable.

Prescribe medications in accordance with the facility formulary and coordinate care with facility medical staff.

Participate in clinical reviews, quality improvement activities, and professional practice committees when requested.

Collaborate with healthcare staff and administration to ensure safe, effective, and compliant patient care.
