AvaMed Workforce is a Joint Commission Certified Health Care Staffing Agency seeking a Pharmacist to do a 6 month assignment at a correctional facility in Corcoran, CA. This a a Monday through Friday schedule 8-430pm. There is a possibility of renewing for another 6 months based on performance and/or request to become a State Pharmacist.
Rate $65/hr as a 1099
$2600/week (weekly pay via Direct Deposit)
Pharmacy System : CERNER
Correctional Pharmacy Services is a setting like outpatient in that all medications are oral. No IVs and no pharmacokinetics. It's like inpatient in that you do not see patients or in this case, inmates. The pharmacy is isolated and away from all inmate housing.
