AvaMed Workforce is hiring a LVN/LPN III - State Supported Living Center for a contract assignment at San Angelo State Supported Living Center (Texas HHSC).

Position details

• Texas HHSC State Supported Living Center, San Angelo, TX
• 3 openings, 40 hrs/week, no OT
• Evenings 4p-12a x 5 days/week, rotating schedule, every 3rd weekend off
• Approx. start 11/16/2026; minimum 6-month contract
• No extra time off over the holidays

What you'll do

• Administer medications and treatments (oral, rectal, injection)
• Perform nursing procedures per facility and state regulations
• Document and report observations; manage EHR/paper charts
• Respond to emergencies; follow safety and infection control
• Collect lab specimens and perform screening tests

Requirements

• Active Texas LVN license (or NLC compact)
• Current AHA CPR
• Negative PPD within 12 months; COVID test
• Pass drug screen, background and FBI fingerprint check
• EHR skills and IDD/psych experience preferred
