ASL Interpreter - Middle School DHH Program

AvaMed Workforce is hiring an ASL Interpreter for a school-year contract with Federal Way Public Schools in Federal Way, WA (middle school with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing program).

Assignment details

• Location: Federal Way Public Schools, Federal Way, WA
• Dates: 10/26/2026 - 06/17/2027 (school year)
• Shift: Days, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, 30-minute meal

Responsibilities

• Provide American Sign Language interpreting for students in the DHH program during classes and school activities
• Work with teachers and the DHH team to support student access

Requirements

• ASL interpreting credential appropriate for Washington K-12 settings
• Educational interpreting experience preferred
• Background check and district clearances
